Everywhere I turn he's there. Whether one step ahead or one step behind he follows. Is he friend or foe? I do not know. Is he a bodyguard? Protecting me from threats I cannot see? Is he a guide leading me on the long road of life? Is he the form of an aspect of myself I want to forget? Is he the past trying to catch up to me? Is he a dark reflection of myself, warning me of the person I may become? Or is he my doppelganger from another dimension seeking to absorb me into his world? I don't know. All I know is he's there.
