This is where we post the Word Prompt.

The moderators will give you simply one word - your challenge is to write something to do with that word, however tenuous the link may be. If you have a piece you want to share, feel free to use that instead, as long as it goes with the word.

We try to keep a small word-count so everyone can participate. Don't be shy, we love to read your writing.
