SQ etc audience?
Hi all,
I was just browsing my facebook account (under my pen name) and I saw an announcement about an upcoming event. I know we have a newsletter and the guild, but on FB there are 27 members, and that's more than we have here. Can any of us just toss up info and links for those members of the guild who aren't members here in this section? Like for SQ magazine's emergence, contest info, etc.

Hi Val
I can put a posting in. In our credentials in the FB group, we have links to this site - I figure they aren't actually spotted by the members.
Thanks for the observation!

I finally succumbed and got myself a facebook account. It's in my pen name, Laurie Stefans - help me get connected please, as I have no idea what I'm doing on facebook.

Once a few of us connect with you, you will be prompted with common friends and suggestions - that will get things going.
As a writer, this is a good idea - at some point you have to market yourself, whether you self-publish or not. The ideal is to get to a point where you change your security settings because you have too many fans!
You might want to consider Twitter down the track - once you have stuff published.
Also, look up IFWG Publishing and become a fan! (please)
