What did you get for Christmas?

I didn't make a list this year, but my mom got me the complete National Geographic: every issue of the magazine since 1888, on CDs. Maps, articles, pix! I'm so excited! I think it will really help me get details and atmosphere more accurate in the odd historical fiction piece I write, and I can also pilfer the real world shamelessly for my fantasy pieces! W00t!

What did you guys get?

I got a TV (yay!) from my parents and a Nintendo DS from my boyfriend. With Zelda. I love Zelda.

Jen and I didn't give anything to each other this year (nor last) because we usually do fun stuff during the holidays anyway, and usually spend up. Lots of fun giving our little one presents - that is where the real fun is!

One of the most fun bits of my Christmas/NY period was finishing editing Val's novel - it rocks!

The boys got bikes, Mrs Wargood got a GPS and I got a new computer (which is delayed in production with no estimated ship date). This machine will have to do for now: Pentium 2 and 256K RAM- can't understand why I can't meet system requirements for nearly any game, nor why it takes me 3 times longer to find a website than Mrs Wargood's laptop can...
